This is the official page of UKM1 Pedati Suria team representing Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for Shell Eco Marathon ASIA 2012 that will be held on 4-7 July this year at Sepang International Circuit. Our team will be competing under Urban Concept category based on solar technology.
You may think how a solar car is made? Can it be use in the future? Building a solar car isn't easy, but our team which consist of mechanical and electrical engineering student take that challenge in building a better future solar car. Our main objective is to make an urban car that can save energy and environmental friendly by converting unlimited source of energy from the sunlight into electrical energy , then convert into mechanical energy and move the car!
Based on the green technology and applying the knowledge that we got in class , we are trying to make an urban car that is good in many aspects such as use less energy, attractive and the most important is SAFETY!
